How a yard period works

This site is kept the way we keep a project — as a numbered file. Open the sheet that matches the question you came with.

Versus a European yard on comparable work — the cost of the site and the labour, not of the standard.
18 on new work, 12 on the existing systems we open — in the contract on the day you sign.
The same job, quoted two ways: on the left, one figure with nothing underneath it; on the right, the line item opened all the way down, so it can be laid beside another yard’s offer and compared like with like — and so that where something is still unknown, you can see which line it is and how much of the job it holds.
Amounts are approximate and come from a sample work list. Figures on this sheet describe how we price and how our yard periods have run, not what a final invoice will be; they apply to the scope agreed before the work starts.
Both terms are in the contract on the day you sign it, not in a certificate produced later if you ask for one. 18 months on new work, 12 on previously completed work. If our work fails inside that window, we put it right at our own cost within Turkey. If a warranty call takes us outside Turkey, the travel is at the owner’s expense.

A work list can run to 15 sections and more, but on board it comes down to four schedules running at once. Each has its own trades, its own suppliers and its own waiting, and any one of them can hold the other three up — so the yard period is planned as one job rather than four. That is why there is one contract and one person to call for all of it.
Ask for our rates and the quotation follows once we have been through the line items together. Or talk to the manager who would run your yard period and tell us what you are up against: the class date you are working to, the jobs you already know about, and the ones you suspect are sitting behind a panel.
