What you can put in front of an owner without rewriting it

Bars Marine is a refit yard in Tuzla, Istanbul, for motor yachts of 24 to 100 m. Five decisions stay on your side across a yard period, and each one reaches you in writing. Four documents come into your office while the work runs, and any of them can go to the owner as it stands.

Item 70.1

What is yours to decide

Reviewed 21 Aug 2026

Five decisions across a yard period, and all of them are made on paper. The captain walks the work with the project manager; your side reads and decides. Between the five, the weekly report tells you what is done, what is running and what is waiting.

If you are the yacht’s agent

Captains ask their agent where a yard period should go. Send the yacht’s particulars — her length, her class event and the window she is free — and we answer whether we can take her, with the rate card attached, within one working day.

Every answer is written to be forwarded: the captain reads it as it arrives.
